Most Common Listing Photo Mistakes and How to Fix Them

February 19, 2021, 10:28 am

Preparing your home to be put on the market takes a lot of work. From pre-listing inspections to staging, to appraising it is very easy to get overwhelmed by the whole process. But if there’s one thing that you shouldn’t underestimate it’s the power of a strong online listing presence. Having an unappealing online presence can not only cause your home to sit on the market for longer but it can even cause your home to sell for less. That’s why it’s so important to ensure that the photos you use to show your home in its best light are doing just that. So we’ve reached out tothe experts in real estate photography from Miami to Portland to help you position your home to sell as quickly as possible by highlighting some of the most common listing photo mistakes and
how you can avoid them.

March 22, 2020, 10:42 am

If a member of your family has a mobility impairment that affects his or her ability to walk, stand, or climb a flight of stairs without assistance, you may be looking for accessible homes that make getting around a whole lot easier, safer, and more comfortable. However, a 2011 American Housing Survey found that less than 1 percent of homes were wheelchair accessible during the time of the study, and less than 4 percent were suitable for residents with moderate mobility impairments. About 33 percent of homes could be modified to meet mobility needs.

The view may look better in the winter, the garden will probably look better in the summer, then there are those picture perfect days when the skies are the bluest and the air the clearest. Great sunsets, fresh winter snow and wildlife in the yard. Your Realtor can't get all these things, so it's up to you. I have 8 different photos here of the same river view to illustrate the point.
